@simonprovost Thank you for your suggestion! It is indeed a great idea to support PyCharm as well.

However, I must admit that I haven't used PyCharm before and know nothing about its configuration. If you have the time to create a PR, I would greatly appreciate it. Alternatively, if you could provide the necessary configuration files for PyCharm, I can add them directly.

PS:
Currently, the template includes only a few VS Code-specific configurations, namely .vscode/settings.json and pyrightconfig.json, which are opinionated workspace settings. These workspace settings override user settings. Typically, we don't need these workspace settings and usually don't include them in the git repository, as everyone can set their own preferred user or workspace settings in VS Code. Even without these configurations, the default settings are generally suitable for most users.
